Sega Out Run Upright
San Diego continues to have a dearth of reasonably priced arcade classics available through Craigslist, so I have extended my search to Orange County, the Inland Empire, and even the Coachella Valley areas. This approach bore fruit a few weeks back when Blake and I made a road trip to the city of Orange to pick-up a BurgerTime upright. This time the object of my affection, Sega’s Out Run, would even be further afield — in the lovely city of Pasadena — home of the Rose Bowl and New Years Day Tournament of Roses Parade.
I’m not sure that Pasadena passes for Orange County or the Inland Empire, and I had explicitly ruled out the Los Angeles area which is actually rife with available game system, mainly because Los Angeles traffic and congestion is just not worth the hassle. So, obviously the seller had cross posted the system and I guess this time that worked to his advantage.
